The City of Killeen in partnership with Hill country Community Action Association and Lankford Interests developed The Veranda at Twin Creek, an 88-unit housing complex on 8.24 acres for persons 60 years and older. The complex is comprised of twenty-two single story buildings consisting of one and two bedroom apartments. Twelve percent of the units are accessible to person mobility, sight, and/or hearing impaired while the remaining units were constructed with adaptability features.
